Travel Information
Introduction
Travel by students in conjunction with a University of North Dakota student organization or work experience is a privilege. Traveling to conferences, meetings, sporting competitions, and/or other events is an opportunity for students to learn new things, engage with different people, and to serve as ambassadors for the University. As such, students have a responsibility to comply with all appropriate policies and procedures involved with student travel in hopes that the travel will be safe and successful.
Student travel may include, but is not limited to:
- Co-curricular (out of classroom) activities that require and or involve off campus travel;
- Course-related field trips;
- Study abroad or exchange programs;
- Attendance at local, regional, or national meetings or conferences representing the University of North Dakota (including those in conjunction with Student Government, a Student Government Standing Committee, and/or the North Dakota Student Association);
- Use of State Fleet Vehicles for transportation within or outside Grand Forks, ND.
- Attendance at meetings and/or conferences in conjunction with on-campus employment.
