Panhellenic
Council
When you join a sorority at UND, you become a
member of an even larger association called the
National Panhellenic Conference. The National
Panhellenic Conference includes all 26 nationally
recognized women's sororities, seven of which are
represented at UND. The collegiate group at UND is
called Panhellenic Council (PHC). The Panhellenic
Council is the governing body of all UND sororities.
The UND Panhellenic Council organizes activities of
mutual concern and interest to all the sororities on
campus. The council develops and maintains sorority
life, interfraternity relations, and supports and encourages
intellectual development. The council is made up
of representatives from each chapter, an executive
board of eight women, and six appointed positions.
These women have been elected or appointed and
volunteer their time and leadership ability to serve all
sororities at UND.
